No matter where you start the trail from, it will give you a good workout, it's 10 miles one way and it has a lot of nice views, trees, and other features that makes it a very nice skating trail.

I started my trek at Nees right under the freeway, and like any other long workout, be prepared with plenty of liquids and food, yes, food, you'll lose more calories than you think and the body won't respond without enough fuel, so a light backpack is what I used with pop corn, trail mix quaker bars, kern's juices, a water canteen, and a bag of trail mix dried fruit and nuts.

As always, make sure you have good skates, and that you're feet are comfortable in them, or you'll get blisters or the like. I also recommend larger wheels 84mm and up are best for skating this trail.

The trail has a mostly semi rough surface, with lots of street intersections that force you to stop (good to grab a quick bite). Skater beware when crossing. I found that most drivers were very conscious about people in this part of town.

This is where starts on Nees...
As you can see the surface is semi rough and while it's all paved, there are a few spots where the rain has taken over the trail but is still manageable. I found this very neat, it has a lot of underpasses, that give you a little bit of downhill push before you enter and a good uphill workout when you get to the other side...

Besides the underpasses, the views and the trees are very nice, making it a great place for group skating or families...

While I took a lot of pictures, I won't include them all in this blog, you can look at them on panoramio
Here is an uphill shot after getting out of the first underpass...
This little uphills are very nice, they take the smooth ride out of your legs and make your skating a bit fun... as you can see in the pictures, I found almost no people before getting into Clovis.

Here is a very nice shot of the Trail... (I must say I did not stop to take any of the pictures, I took'em while rolling using an iPhone 4 not bad at all).
Up to this point the Trail still has a semi rough surface... but, it gets a little better down the road, I really recommend this trail to anyone wanting to have some good times out just rolling or for a nice walk...

It is so nice rolling down into the underpasses, and there are plenty of them to enjoy...!

Since I had such a great workout and a good time rolling this paths, I am going to skate it again and enjoy a full round trip of this trail... I am sure that once you get to know the Fresno Clovis trail you'll have to go back for more...!

Happy Skating, hope you liked my blog... don't forget to see the pictures on panoramio....

Enjoy...! More Skating Routes Fresno Ca coming soon...!
